Goodbye Year 2007.....

Dear 2007,

 

 

It has been quite a fulfilling 2007 year for me.

Here are some of the updates,

 

  

13 Jan – The day where 2 hearts joined and beat as one, after courting of 7 years since year 2007, beginning with a class bbq at East Coast Park.

Our wedding @ Mount Faber SAFRA.

 

14 Jan – Our honeymoon to Perth, my official move-in to new house @ Goodview Garden (Bt Batok).

 

30 Mar – Left Furama City Centre to a new place.

Furama was my first job after graduation back in 2 Dec 2002. It was a nice and “learning journey” long 4 years there.

 

2 Apr – Joined Chasen Logistics as Executive Secretary and Customer Service.

Another new beginning for me, a new working environment and a new group of colleagues.

Good Boss(es) – my GM, ED and MD… for far though there are always ups and downs with operations and sales.

 

26 Sept (if I remembered the date) – Little Bao Bao was “discovered” ~ hahaha!!!!!!

It was tested positive on the pregnancy kit. Gynae confirmed it. It was then 3 months old.

Our labour of Love!!!!

He will be arriving to the world, expected end of April 2008.

Pampers & Little Bao Bao's stuff

We have already stock up on pampers, hahaha! There are 4 extra big pack of pampers at home. 1 from Mummy Poko (giant) and 3 from Dryers (jusco). We decided to buy 2 packets per month..so when little bao bao arrive in April 08, we will have 12 packets at home. Will buy in different sizes as he will grow. 

Many thanks to Jen & Alan who gave us a lot of jayden's stuffs like pacifier, baby clothes etc...and a breast pump (comes with containers) from her too...

We brought a pack of 2 (4oz) Avent Milk Bottle from jusco, after % was like $30+..which i find it cheaper than in Singapore. Anyway there will be more sourcing and hunting of bottles @ Robinson next Saturday with yvonne - the mightly mum.

A baby cot is still needed...will "borrow" from Cecilia......

More baby's stuff coming from Chanelle, Cecilia & Yvonne..need to stock take before we decide to get the rest for little bao bao.......

Will be going for my 2nd trimester detailed scan on Monday, 7 Dec at Thomson Medical Centre. Afterwhich, their is another shopping spree @ Jusco with Jen & Alan.

my update!!!!!!

I’m expecting!!!!!

Into my 5^th month soon. Regular check-up with Dr Adrian B. Woodworth every 2 weeks, his clinic located at CCK interchange.

Estimated due date will be on 23 April 2008 at Thomson Medicine Centre. It’s a baby mouse!!

 

 

Morning sickness, nausea, tiredness is all that I experienced during the first 3 months. It was miserable! I get headache easily..but no pandadol unless it is unbearable.

Good Appetite ~ I am craving for all kinds of food…the most craving that I had was GRAVA...since that I have tons of grava in my fridge at all time.

Dairy product like cheese, soya bean milk, HL milk, yogurt is also always with me in fridge.

 

 

Maternity clothes…wow those clothing are real expensive…! Pant cost easily $79.90…..i had already spent $500 on a few pieces that was from a maternity shop located at tampines mall.

I even got my CNY clothes from mark & spencer during my last shopping trip with Michelle, it was a bright fusion pink top at $69.90…it goes well with a pant then.

Next shopping will be on December after payoff day with Yvonne on baby’s stuff, well she definitely knows well and what to buy…she is a mother of 3 handsome hunks…

 

 

A big thank you to huming!! She brought me a guide book and a white “big” blouse!!! Xie Xie ni, ming ming!!!!

I have been reading on the guide book on what I should be taking more and on nutrition fact during pregnancy.

 

A big thank you to Michelle for accompany me to shop around for maternity and dinner (to my craving) hehe!!!!!!

Being too nice to other, you will be taken granted off……

I always believed that it will reciprocate (in 2 ways). But I realized it’s all wrong. I finally have its taste of “being too nice”.

From today onwards, I am going to be that “hack care” woman in my office…….

Taking leave on Wednesday to go medicial check up @ thomson medicial then meeting up Huiming at my place for lunch, chat and catching up..it has been such a long time since i last saw her. Pizza Hut / KFC for lunch!! haha..

Peixiang will be coming to Singapore with her boyfriend from Thailand, looking forward to meet up with her then. The last time, we went Thailand was like 2 years back (since we last saw her)...i really miss the school time we all had at MDIS...the leisure time we had..the gossips / chattings...

How's things @ office....? Err....i don't wish to say anything liao....totally lost for words..but yday meeting (with all colleagues) with Justin (my MD) was a surprised one..it was a "heart to heart talk"...talked about things we faced in work..the procedures..the improvements that can be made ...wow really impressed!!!!

I am really looking forward to 8 September, we are going to celebrate Elaine's birthday..going for craby dinner and "la copi" session after that (perhaps to PS cafe again)...this time round, its full force...with the beauties: michelle, melissa, elaine, joyce and myself....

It's 3 more months to Xmas..i am damn looking forward to xmas...I wanna to go for xmas shopping..and i already plan what to get for my friends/colleagues...but what i need to do now, is to save....no $ no shopping....haiz.....worst still, i am also looking froward for CNY'08....planning to have a big feast at my place for friends/relatives....and ang baos for all my cousins...hehe!!!

I wanna a LV wallet....?! have that intention to change my current LV wallet which was my 21st birthday gift from all my aunties and uncles...but thinking back, with that amount spent on the LV wallet, i can get another 2 "small" coach bags....hahaha! while.....still in the midst of planning.....

Shopping - a way to destress...?!

I have been out shopping and shopping with babyshell this month. Last 3 Saturdays, we have been out for dinner, coffee and shopping....

Last last Saturday, we went for Metro sales at Paragon, brought cosmetics..facial products...i got accessories at Far East Shopping Centre. By the way, there is a small and tidy shop on the 2 level that sells "immitation" branded accessories..like Tiffany etc.....the range of accessories are quite nice and classy..reasonable price as well..i brought $50 worth of accessories at one go...Omigod..!

Last Saturday, we went for Korean food followed by PS cafe, though no shopping at all but $ are all spent on food, drinks and cabby.......

TODAY, another Saturday.....met up Babyshell again, went bugis for a walk....Charles & Keith are having storewhile 30%, imagine the Q to the cashier went all the way frm infront of the cashier till outside LIVER (the boutique)....shoes are all over the place...bags are messed up....husbands and boyfriends are waiting impatiently outside the boutique....ladies are inside choosing for their discounted shoes and their size......it is like stock market.....!!!??  Shoes are all thrown on the floor into a pile for selection...We didnt get anything..?! strange rite...it is tooooo crowded already! * Lost mood..

We left Bugis to Babyshell's home in Jurong East because the dear lady wanted to go back home to get her office's pass as she has lefted her ATM card in office...so we headed back to her home..she happily came down with her pass and we set off the Vivocity....happily got down the cab, walked to her office lobby, she happily went up...and 10mins later...she came down angrily.....Oh Dear....this sotong baby forgotten her keys to her drawers where she kept her ATM....?

After so much effort to go back home and get the pass = 0 (in the end she STILL did not get her ATM card)

We went shopping again.......to vent our fustration.....i brought 2 black blouse from TANGS...one quite formal...maybe can wear to Sean's wedding dinner in Sept..the other one for office wear.....quite happy with today's purchase...cos both costs less than $100 at TANGS...went Asian Kitchen for dinner with babyshell.....then took cab home as i got tabao for my honey at home...(now he is enjoying their pork rib fried rice while watching TV)....

Another $200 gone today.....oh yah, i got a BONIA wallet for my mother in law, bday coming on 20 Aug.....celine's present coming..tomorrow going to get it.....

Ice Mocha, Signature Flower Tea, Ice Logan Tea, Lemon Lime & DOUBLE CHOCOLATE Brownie (filled with hazel nut & mashmellow) topped with ice cream....followed by White Wine (plus 7-up, grapefruit, green apple and lemon) is what we 4 ladies had on last Saturday nite....a pity that Melissa was unable to join us. (well, she has dinner at her sis's place) * Melissa - are u envy..?! haha!!!

Prior to that was a authenic korean dinner at takashimaya...nice dinner with bbq chicken, ginseng chicken, hot & spicy soup and "lian guo - korean style"....with desserts..yummy!

We had a great chat and laughing session at PS, a cosy sofa area (infront of the toliet?!) where we seated....talked about our "dream guy", relationship and more, which i can't remembered......it was another round of well - spent nite with the gals (elaine, joyce, michelle & ME)...met this filipino waiter who was extremly nice to us....serve us with all our needs of having one additional spoon, more hot water, menu, phototaking..this and that..haha!!!!!!

Next session (Elaine's Birthday) shall be a crab seating session...this time round, melissa shall not be excused... :)

Saturday (07.07.07) was a special day for Lyssa & Don. Two hearts united as one. They have been together since secondary school time and finally their love knot was tied with happiness and joy on last Saturday at East Coast Chalet (5 rooms okie..?!).

All of us were very anxious and excited over their event. Friday (the night before), we all went shopping for tibits / drinks and medicure / pedicure session, so that we look "mei mei" the following day.

Saturday morning, babyshell came to my office to fetch me..wow she is "CLEVER" lor..she knows the way to my office with the assistance of the street directionary (sorrie, i don't have that capabilities). After that, we went to fectch up Elaine at Tanjong Pagar then heed to the chalet for pre set up.

We reached there around 2pm, lyssa and joyce were not there yet...the florist / caterers are already there for pre set up...soon at 5pm, everything was in place nicely....the whole place was filled with roses....people...delicious spread...romatice songs (with the help of P.A system)..can you imagine the ambiance....soon the JP came and the ceremony began....it's touching...makes me reminded of my very day back in Jan'07.

After the ceremony, dinner commenced..there are laska / mee siam / bbq action station....desserts counter with chocolate fondue.....we are proud of ourselves...haha we took lots of pictures...awating for babyshell to upload for us....

* forget to add in...there are whole suckling pig as well...and 22 cartons of beer...hahaha incredible rite..lyssa & ron's relatives / friends are super super drinkers.....!!??

We had a good chat and get together session after 80% of the guests went off...we stayed in the chalet room....had drinks...tibits...and laughters in the room. (including Lena / Min Min (lyssa's sisters - our new "frends")  ~ hahaha!!!

Fei Fei wanton mee @ Joo Jiat the following morning..compliments from Lyssa's dad...err....that noodles are not that fantastic....my own opinion.....Flew home after that....wow damn tiring.....! Washed my clothes, mopped the floor then dinner with parents and dear...my treat!!!!! had a wonderful dinner with crabs... black pepper crabs...

But overall, it's a enjoyable & memorable night for all of us......

It is now 8.38pm and i am still in office working.....this has been happening for the last 2 months, which means i have been working OT for the past 2 months...where i knock off at officially at 5pm??!!!

It was fulfilling though..but tired (mentally and physically)....worst then my ex-company (where we work from 9am to 6.30pm), now i am working from 8AM TO 8PM daily.....

i really put in my effort...did you see it...? i wanted to do the best for you.....

 

sick! lost my voice.....

I am sick for 4 days already...i lost my voice..omigod...i sounded like "ah tu".."ah gua"...haha and all kind of names i got from my office colleagues.

It was terrible...i could not speak, i could not answer the phone and worst, i could not laugh and be chatty like birdie....it's miserable.

I went doc, medicine is suck...! not powerful at all, i am down with cough now....terribly coughing....!

I got my new COACH bags, not 1 but 2....hahahaha!!! Happy but sad at the same time...i am broke, damn broke...desperately broke!!

Auntie Anna went States for business trip, so I "long bang" her to get me COACH bags...i got 2 designs for her...she managed to found the 2 designs for me!! I am so delighted!!!!! The COACH bags were at least $200 cheaper than Singapore...I got one new design, small rectangle handbag with a knot button infront of the bag (above left) for USD245 plus 8% tax...which came out to be estimated S$400..I went COACH @ TAKA to have a peep at the price...omigod...! They are selling at $615......the other one is their signature piece (above right), the "C" pattern, got it in black colour, selling at US$215 i think..Sing selling at S$516......good lobang leh...

Wow, i paid lesser..for the same bag...and it is "flying in" frm States....hehehe! I am crazy...crazy over COACH bags...i love their design and cutting.....how i wish someone can but me a whole series of COACH bags, accessories and their wallet..

My COACH bags are on the way back home..hipppi.......!

 

*Today*

I went to Papilo @ Verasamy Road with Jen today....i am sad and heart pain...i re-coloured my hair to from light copper to red...but my stubborn hair disappointed me....the colour wasn't obvious enough....i am like wasting my $120...on a bunch of "a bit red when its under the sun" hair....Jen says it is obvious but it is not the result that I wanted...haiz.......but i intend to do soft rebonding next month...my aim to save $ for my rebonding.......

After that we went Golden Mile steamboat dinner with Alan.....they headed to mustafa for shopping and i took a cab to raffles city to visit huiming at robinson...i brought a nice photoframe, 2 precious moments cups (for my colleagues' birthday) and a cup with saucer for my executive director, eddie...because he doesn't have a cup in his room... :(

Hey, i brought a surprise PARKER pen (engraved with his name) for my GM- dixzy, his birthday is coming this week....haha!

 

* Last Nite* (elaine, joyce, michelle, melissa & ME)

Yesterday dinner at COCA, International Building..not that fantastic...the one at TAKA is superb......full force last nite to celebrate Joyce's belated birthday...awaiting for michelle to send me the pics we took....we sat and ate for 3 full hours.....after that we went for a spin..at PS CAFE...quite romantic..followed to melissa's place for coffee....and dicussion on her ROM on 7 July 07....i am soooo sleepy.....slept at 2am after shower, woke up at 6.30am for work.. sleepy von! lacked of sleeeeep....desperately!

My wedding band diamond dropped off again...this is the 2nd time already..i am disappointed with them and i am not going to pay for the repair again this time round...and i am going to complaint to SOOKEE management if they doesn't do another good job for me......SHIT!!!!!!!!!!

it's too heavy on me.......tons of work to do, tons of follow up for me, i am the ONLY and ONE pillar to support the building........i am very loaded......(not with money lor - i also hope)........hopefully things will improve when the new person come in on Tuesday...i look forward...

I had a wonderful and great nite just now...at Plaza hotel, celebrating foy's wedding...everyone I LOVE was there...jen, ivy, char, aileen, yiling, linda mamee, step, ade, gege and damian...

Foy is sooooo sexy tonite, the prettiest bride....

The food served was fine..prawnie was soo fresh and big big sia...i like the shark's fin soup too..the fried rice in lotus leave was nice too.....but room was a bit warm....

Yum yum......Yum Seng... we had.....was on my top pitch lo...finally "my lapel mic" came in use..hahaha!

I can't belived it!!!

I was on the company transport to Jurong East MRT yesterday after work till 1pm. Then i "accidentially" took a glance on my wedding band.....to my HORROR!!! I saw one of the diamond dropped off the ring....... I have a few "small" diamond around the band...one of the diamond was missing....?????!!!!!

I was sad.....that's was our wedding band.....it's the signature wedding band from SOO KEE....its the "Infinity" .........

I called the sales person (whom i became friend with) and told her about my case. She asked me back to her brance at TM. I told my bob...he has no reaction...??!!! cos it is my diamond anyway....sob sob :( he just replied: "then how..?!!" alamak...! hahahaha

Went back TM with babyshell and elaine da jie today..went for crystal jade high tea and had a short chat before visiting Celine at Far East Square.....Got my band back to SOO KEE factory for inspection and as well to replace that small diamond....my friend assure that she will try her best to get the min charge for that...i hope....

The 3 of us went Far East then got ourselves tea ice and while walking on the street , suddenly elaine popped out an question on relationship and 3 of us flare towards a nearby stonechair (at one of the restaurant) and got seated down....we are indulge into the topic.....we sat there for almost 45 mins..before we set off to Chinatown to grab toiletries.....i got $51 worth of toiletries... bath form, mouth rinse, pads, toothpaste, facial cleanser, facial make up removal......i am broke......my next payout will be on 6 of the month..which is 6 of MAY!!!!!!!!!!!

We were death dropppppped!!!! took a cab home from there......

Thanks babyshell....who has been accompanying me here and there despite she is tired....anyway she has a "bonus" just now, she got herself a skirt from Pepperplus.

Next Saturday, lunch @ grandparent's place to celebrate Mothers' Day followed by Foy's wedding @ Plaza Hotel...

 

# joyce, elaine, babyshell and ME were together last nite @ babyshell's place......it was a closed door ladies chat with prawn crackers, drinks and maggie me..... things will be fine - my dear elaine...we be there for u.... :) There is always ups and downs in each and every relationship...it is how and "who" u have to overcome....

:Steamboat Festa:

Me met up again, this time round with Lian-jie, Step, Joey & Jason and myself...we went for steamboat at Bugis...well, it's quite nice steamboat shop. It is located again that Liang Seah Street, opp Swensen @ Bugis...called wat "ping yi zhou" or "yi ping zhou"...something like that.

Bill came up to around $18 per person, which i think it is thousand times better than those steamboat shops located at Marina South. Though they are cheap but first their food sucks...it is getting from bad to worst..secondly, the place is soooooo dirty...esp that live seafood....alamka, the floor are wet and it stinks....third.....u can't go without a car..! it is so inaccessible.

It is was short but enjoyable dinner..we start off the dinner at 8pm..it ended around 10pm....we head home after that, fat cat came to fetch me home at bugis which saved my $ on cab...I lquite like the steamboat....(though the soup base is xxxx....a bit of salty...but not as bad as those at Marina South)

 

My brother went NS today..Mum and Dad sent him off to Tekong....now i have no one to talk rubbish with me...hehehe cos he is always bullying me and ask me do this and do that.....now i miss that..haha :) well 3 weeks will pass fast.

Grandpa's 79 birthday is approaching...should be the 2nd week in May, my 6 aunties has not decided where to go for dinner celebration. I recommend them SAFRA mt faber, the place where i had my wedding banquet but they are still sourcing for venue. Every year we will celebrate grandpa birthday and also a big gathering for all of us, and not forgetting to take a family picture after the dinner.

Next Saturday, me attending foy's wedding, heheh looking forward to see how beautiful she is. Looking forward to meet up my ex colleagues from Furama...hahaha....!

One Week...!

one week has passed since I started work........

colleagues so far ok..perhaps due to closing, they are so busy with work everyday..Mainwhile, I just help to take over some regular accounts from one of the accts gal since she is very loaded.

I have seen my executive director and my general manager but yet to see my managing director (the highest authority in the company). He seems so busy with work or business trips. Each time I passed his office, his room is always faked..no lights..which means he is not in  :(

went out with Linda (maamee), Ah Stephanie Ong and Joey to bugis junction (aji-tei) Japanese restaurant...had japanese dinner there..food served was not bad, not like that "conveyor" belt kind of sushi...should give a try. We chat and laugh, update them on my new job.....thru these, it brings me back to Furama again..hahaha though i am not "officially" a member of furama..heehee........I still miss the times we gossip and have fun during office hours...really, i meant it...* i got a blouse and a skirt from Dorothy Perkins, cheap cheap.....hippi..!

After dinner, Step, Joey and I went for another round of chit chat session at coffeeshop..hahaha........and not forgetting Jason was there too...listening to how we complaint and gossip..hahaha :)

Step - u have my support always.....call me up for de-stress session..i will always be there for u ok...muackzzzz.

Went arenda country club to celebrate my small cousin (Hsiao Fang's) birthday...she is 8...hahah....had lot of fun and child play with the rest of the cousin....went swimming with them..poor cousin - Samual was bulllied by Alicia.....she is superb cute and adorable...i love her so much...! but she is always bullying Sam......Imagine, she offered the first birthday cake to Sam instead of her mum and my grandparents..hahaha....cute gal.

Sam enlisted today to NS....wish u all the best....botak...see u after ur training..soon my bro's turn on 27 Apr..hahah........

my new work place

Today is my 3rd day in my new work place. Well everything was still very new to me. The environment, the work desk, the office, the building itself and even the toilet.

But surprising, the toilet is nice..! They installed the "bowl" type of basin with shelves below (stored toilet paper) and by the side, there are detergents for washing of cups etc.... I love the toilet. very well equipped

My desk was outside the Executive Director's office, though i will be serving quite a few directors but their room are outside of my main office, and wat..!!!?? I haven't seen them coming into the office...perhaps that they come in to without me noticing or they never come in office..hahahah well directors leh...tot small fly like ME....

Colleagues was so so..maybe me still new, nothing much to chat, laugh and gossip about...I have learning now on quotation, how and wat the quote for the clients......Later will touch more on flight booking, doing itinerty and planning.....

Best of it...i knock off at 5pm daily. (tot i know this will not be last as workload are piling up)..but the feel is superb...imagine you get to see the sun bright when u leave the office....and i reach home at 6pm...wow that shoick man....

LUNCH was boring.......lunch in AT UR DESK...omigod...one thing that i am NOT used to......

No more MTM (made to measure) shoe rack for ME, but one from novena furnishing

Am I angry..? kinda a bit.....

Viewing was fixed 2weeks ago, I have already made my point very clear to Kelvin (the appointed contractor) who was suppose to come and fix the MTM shoes rack today (thursday) that I would want the works to be complete this week. His carpenter came too last week, I have chosen the material and colour for my lovely shoes rack. How wonderful it can be...?!

Disaster came yesterday.. His carpenter called me in the noon telling me that they are not able to come and fix the shoes rack tmr (which is today) due to his m'sian workers going back for "ching ming" praying... They can only come in Sunday, I am sure that they have other LOCAL workers rite...? He said he will get back to me in a while to see if he CAN fix it tmr...

I waited and waited, waited and.....till 12 midnight...I msg the contractor so how / wat is happening....??!! No one called me to see if there are coming tmr or Sunday...

I am a bit pisssssed off....hey!! I am so free this week and yet they can only come Sunday, I have to get ready for work next monday at my new place. i dun want to tired myself on sunday (on cleaning up the mess) and look haggard on monday....why can't he arrange another person to do up the rack...?????

To conclude..i msg him that I have decided to forgo all the works. He apologized but I didn't replied him. Wat is this...?! Business is already 80% clinched, why can't they just come and fix it up for me..? Is it so difficult...? I just don't understand......

 

Today, I went shopping @ novena furnishing, located at The Plaza......hahahahaha!!

I got my shoes rack...though it is not as nice as MTM, but it is in White & walnut colour, it definitely blended into my house theme. I paid $399 for it (compared to my MTM rack, it is so MUCH cheaper). Delivery was made this Saturday...hehehe..! Finally I have got my shoes rack settled....awaiting for my shoes rack this saturday.......

 

Busy week..!

Busy week for me..!

Monday (26Mar) was my last half day with Furama...went for lunch @ Central with Step, Jen & Foy..then Elaine called me to ask if i am free for coffee...hehehe......so i went to meet her at Vivocity....we shopped around, got myself a Charles & Keith handbag, settled at White Dog Cafe, ordered Chocolate Milkshake, Pasta and Double Mushroom soup, we got seat down by the side near the window glass panel, indulging ourselves in the nice scenary view of sentosa (wat a taitai life we have that day). We set off for home close to 4.30pm.

Tuesday (27Mar) I went down to my new company to get the appointment signed. Bob drove me down....before that we went west coast mcd to have breakfast. After signing, we went Jurong Point for a walk. We departed on another from there.. I took a train to Outrum, hop onto a cabbie and went to Furama Riverfront (sister hotel of Furama City Centre). I am suppose to have lunch with my dentist, afterwhich a shopping spree at Orchard with Step and Foy. (surprising Linda came along)

Lunch was delicious. We had Indonesia Buffet Lunch at Kintamani Restaurant. Followed by "special made" drinks at Waterfall Lounge - with compliments from Billie Chi...hahaha..Rushed down to orchard Taka Coffeebean to meet up with the gals. Went shopping till 7plus before we parted. My lovely Step can't bear to let me off..we decided to settle down at Starbucks for another round of drinks...oh god...! this is the 4th drink in the day.....

Wat a tired day for me...no $ to take cabbie home, so MRT was the choice, stood all the way from Dhoby Ghaut till Jurong East till Bt Gombak...reached home at 10pm...i dropped death on the sofa......

Wednesday (28Mar) - free and easy day for me. Medicure & Mask session..

Thursday (29Mar) - my MTM shoes rack will be nicely done up. the contractor will be coming at 10am to fix up my shoes rack for me....hipppiiii.....finally all my shoes got a "home" loh.....counting....counting....i have a total of 20 pairs of shoes....some of it was never wore before..omigod...and not forgetting some back in my mum's place....I am going to clean up my shoes rack and place all my shoes in place.

Friday (30Mar) - Last day of being taitai at home before i start work on Monday.

Monday (2 Apr) ~ My first day of work!!!!! wish me lucK...!!

A New Beginning......

Sent in my resume on 7 March morn 11am....received their call for an interview in the noon at 2pm.....went interview at Jurong Port Road (a logistic services company) on 8 March at 10.30am...got the job on the spot as Customer Service cum Secretary to GM.....tendered my current job at 4.30pm on 8 March......!!!!

My last day with Furama City Centre is on 30 March after deducting away my 5 days annual leaves...they still pay me in $ for 2.5 days of leaves leftover.

Goodbye!!! (i spent 4 years, 3 months, 29 days there........)

I will miss my fellow colleagues!!!!

 

the laughter we had, the arguement we had, the "makan sessions" we had, the sing-a-long sessions we had, the misunderstanding we had, the "rubbish" we had, the gossips we had, the Love & Care we had......

We met up last nite for another round of talk cock session.....heheh with Elaine, Michelle and Veris...Mcd @ Clementi....Michelle treated us fries, ice cream, nuggets and drinks...COS she strike 4D wow....hehehe...

This time round, we have planned something interesting and fun...a trip that was planned "verbally" a few years back when we ae still in MDIS diploma....but then it never came true due to individual committments..

We wanted to go bangkok, but due to the the bombing reason, we have to change the destination....the gals wanted somewhere cheap...not to far (cos no $)..dun want to take too long leave...dun want to take coach..dun want to spend too much...dun want to take plane...dun want to save too much for the trip.....AT LAST; we decided on.............................. BATAM...!!!!???????

Hahaha, we decided to go Batam..for medicure, for hair dressing..and not forgetting SPA....the task to check the rates for Harris Resort has been assigned to Michelle...

May 5-6 is the date if nothing goes wrong...though it may be very short trip...but i am looking forward to.....it is the accompany....hehehe....imagine the laughter and the fun we are going to have there, the stupid and crazy things we might or going to do there....michelle & veris wanted to buy cartons of maggie mee back....can't imagine that.....heheheh......  ")

We share a cab home..4 ladies to 4 different location; poor Veris... hehehehe

From teban gdn - Elaine to Jurong East St 24 - Michelle to bt batok west ave 5 - ME then petir road - Veris....heng taxi uncle gave her discount...hehehehe...if not we have to topped up...hahahaha....wat a trip home.. (i mean Veris can easily take a cab home from Clementi instead she has to send us all home then she can reach home...hahaha)

 

 

3 Ladies @ West Coast Mcdonald.....

Met up with michelle and veris last friday.....went to west coast mcdonald.....got ourselves double chocolate and mango blended...sat down by the window (where the drive thru is).....its crowded at Mcd.... :)

We chat and chat.........anything under the sun, about our career...our love relationship, our COACH, LV, GUCCI bags and that "HIM"..... there is one "sad" guy drove pass the drive thru, was driving a TOYOTA WISH...he was a cute chap...seems sad..dun know if he had just broken up with his GF.... wanna michelle to attack him....hehehe too bad he drove off after collecting his meal....hahahahaahah funny us + funny him...

Observed how lizard catches it "supper - flies" on the glass panel where we are seated...its digusted.....!!! but very natural.....my first time...!

It was close to 2.00am i think...michelle drove us back...hehehe, "Kam Sia" hor.....we have more meet ups and "attacks..." soon...hor ~ michelle...................

 

* Elaine was supposed to join us that night...but too bad her darling Alan got sick...she has to rush over his place to take care of him.....haha she will be back in action in our next meet up....Melisssssssa was held up with her work @ Ban Hock...didnt join us as well.....hope to have the "full force" in our next gathering....

Sick Chinese New Year 2007

Eve of Chinese New Year....the usual reunion dinner at both parents place.....it is my brother birthday....hey hey!! happy 19th birthday....omigod...didnt realise he was 19 liao......haha.......we had steamboat every year..so he suggested that this year, we want to include BBQ dinner....happily prepared the food...happily "peng" the food...happily eating and then..............disaster came.....the BBQ cooker plug got "burn" i think..dun know wat happened lah...the BBQ cooker STOP functioning.....alamak...!!!! wat the shit!!!!! end up not having any BBQ food at all for me...spoilt our mood.....but my bro has some tidy BBQ fish fillet and a few BBQ prawnie......hahahaha........we went back to steamboat dinner.....souppy again... :(

We are Sick...!!!

I mean bob and me....it started with me first....throw out and LS on the very first day of Chinese New Year at ah ma's place, not even me having the steamboat lunch..my very "first virgin" ang baos was given out to my cousins (they are all waiting at the doorstep for me....) ahahahahahaha...guess they have been waiting for it..since i got married in Jan 07....we went back to our home sweet home and slept the whole afternoon.....it was unbearable in the night time that we both decided to go down to SGH for consultation......celine drove us there...Bob had fever and backache, virus attacked HIM.....hahah

2nd day was so so....still feeling abit sick..though we had steamboat lunch at my mother in laws place....after that went back to my mums place for "poon choy" [which i brought at $97.90 per portion for 4 persons @ my workplace - Furama City Centre..]

3rd day of chinese new year....bob friends and camp mates came up to our place for steamboat...elaine, melissa, michelle and veris came up too.....had a great time at my place...."lao yu sheng" too......chat and chat, drink and drink till late night..received $80 vouchers from BEST DEN KI..with compliments from elaine & guys...thanks....i am going to get my hair dryer one of these days....!!!

4th day......................MY 26th BIRTHDAY!!!!!! bob brought me to vivocity for movie...."protege [门徒- dun know rite or not]" was the movie we watch..then went back my mum's place for her homemade dinner..and swensen ice cream cake from them too..hehe......

I got some photos to update...give me some time...i will try to load it asap once i have the time......for sure, i promise.....!!

We had lots lots lots of fun and laughter last nite.....karaoke session with:

We celebrated 3 birthdays in a row....haha....mine on 21 Feb, Joey on 23 Feb and Jess on 24 Feb...hehehe nice cake we had....thanks my dear friends.....

Sing a long a long a long till 11pm.....very sleepy this morning but its worth it the tireness...

 

CNY is approaching...in a few days time.... I haven't got my mandarian oranges...my bak guak....and more....help help....!!!!!!!

My COACH Bag

Hahaaaaa!!!

I have gotton my COACH bag....thanks Michelle...thanks to her lobang...

It's in brown colour, with that typical "C" around the bag..cost me $430...."imported" from US...quite spacious nside...enuff to put one A4 file inside...

Bonus payout this coming friday (9 Feb 07)....hahaha....it will be gone (half) after paying off my bills and debts.....but it's still a comfort for the company to give us the bonus..at the least I still can buy some CNY clothes and goodies...

I went shopping with BeBe last Monday @ Sun Plaza...got my CNY clothes......thanks...!

Next, I will shop for hubby....no idea wat he's going to wear this CNY....heheh

married life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot of friends and colleagues has been asking me: " so how's married life?"

In fact, married life is nothing special...from Ms to Mrs lawfully...just that it is a new phrase of living with your hubby (which is my bob cat)...it is a world of 2 persons...no other interference from anyone else...hahahhaha

Changes: you have to start taking care of household, pay utilities bill, settled your own meals and be independent!!!!! in the past, while living in my parents' place, i have no worries over a dinner...BE BE (my mum) will buy eiher rice or noodles and we just have our pick over it...hehe and she will buy goodies food....now that i  have moved out..i have to start thinking of wat to have for dinner when i am on my way home in the train....[duck rice, chicken rice, "chai fan", noodles.......eeee....headache everyday]....I am over pampered at parents' place.

i missed home..! i will be going home each weekend....hahaha.....i still have my stuffs in my "old" bedroom...now officially my brother's room...he had conquered my room!!!

CNY is approaching...i am looking forward to it...i want visit my grand ma's house..and meet up with all my cousins and aunties and uncles...i wanna thanks them for making my big day a memorable one on 13 January 07....i will be bringing my photo album for their viewing..hehehe....lots of goodies good at ah ma house...steamboat......wowow........

Ikea & Giant.....

Today...3 February 07...I was waken up by DoDo's callat 12.30pm..then I realised I should be meeting (Xiao Ke Ai) ~ Aileen, 2pm @ Ikea Alexandra......I jumped out of bed, got showered and change..i left the house happily..... ")

I took MRT from gombak to Queenstown....opps..i lost my way at queenstown...(ulu place man!)....i took bus number 51from MRT but it didnt brought me to Ikea, instead it brought me to leng kee car showroom.....i quickly alighted the bus...i was like standing......infront of BMW (performance motors).....shit lah!!!....i have to walk about 15 mins back over to Ikea....haiz.....wat a "ice cream" day....

Alight Alight....we have lunch at Ikea cafe....got half a dozen of chicken wings..wow yummy chicken wings...each of us had bbq chicken rice and one complimentary coke (from Ikea friends card)..afterwhich we start our shopping.....

I brought: a "zen" looking coffeetable, photoframe, toliet bowl brush, plastic chopping board and a water container..

Later, Aileen followed me home and helped with the installation of the coffeetable..hehe thanks dear.......we had drinks and rest for 20mins before we set off to the next destination....Giant IMM.....we took a cab to IMM then...

We went shop shop around...see if there are any nice and cheap CNY clothes, didnt found any, IMM was packed with people...then went to DAISO....hahah brought things again....then we went down to Giant to get the gorceries.....we brought a lot a lot a lot of things.....washing detergent, pads, cotton pad, orange juice, bread, toliet paper, tissue paper, sponge for dish washing etc...it was not just heavy but damn heavy.........we have to carry all the heavy stuffs and walked to the taxi stand...waited for 25mins, we board a taxi and headed back home.....both of us alighted...she went back to her house (which is opp of my blk lor) and i went back mine...unpacked our things then meet up again for dinner.....by the time, it was like 10pm liao lor.....we had dinner at coffeeshop....hahah had kway chap with fish cake, tau pok, egg and duck meat....chat a while and then tired liao..we walked home.....

Wow, wat a fulfilled day we had today...! shopping all day long...thanks aileen....! (*-*)
