Our X'mas Stay

We had a stayover at Changi Village Hotel during X'mas and we enjoyed the stay very much (although the hotel did not provide me with a baby cot upon request). It is really a bonding time for us the first time celebrating Xmas with our little dearest. We went over the hawker centre for famous ayam penyet, nasi lemak, rojak, chwee kueh instead of xmas goodies like honey baked ham & log cakes...haha, watched [little nonya] at 9pm then baby D went to bed soundly, leaving mummy & daddy a peaceful time for x'mas.

Oh ya, I met my ex-director of food & beverage there and it was really a pleasure seeing him once again. He is really a nice man whom you can confide anything with and a fabulous boss who will assist and give help to you whenever in difficulties.

Boss, wish you happiness in life & smooth sailing career over there.

Thanks for the wonderful lunch @ Saltwater Cafe. We enjoyed the food!

My brother came over and brought us lotsa of goodies like char kway teow, hokkien mee and satay (not forgetting beer)... Thanks, bro!

We went for a swim at the poolside the following morning and the water is freaking cooling, dip down for a few minutes before we pull him up for shower.

How He Did It, Let's See!

Look at how he did it!!! My dear lovely Baby D has learned how to crawl, cling and finally make his first stand up.

 

Step 1: See anyone around then show them my "skill"...da-da, saw mummy! Let's show mummy what I can do...

 

Step 2: Baby D on his way up with his hands gripped onto the handler.

 

Step 3: BINGO! He is able to stand on his own.

He made it...heehee!

 

Step 4: Mission Accomplished!

X'mas Outing with Baby D

Went over to Sean & Jess's place to celebrate the arrival of Baby Crystal, their darling. Baby D of course thrived to see so many friends there, including Jayden kor-kor.

After Sean's place, we went to Suntec to shop for Xmas pressie.

Finally brought my bosses x'mas gifts, Baby D enjoyed the crowd with lots of other babies as well. Nursery room are filled with mummies changing/feeding their little love ones. There are stroller & pram around the mall... It was a tiring shopping trip but fulfilling to have our little one with us sharing & celebrating the joy of X'mas.

Fish Pavillion @ Farm-mart

We went for a BBQ Dinner with the in laws and Baby D.

Tried out this thingy at Fish Pavilion.

Pretty reasonable rates at 15mins - $5.

See how the guys enjoyed themselves.

Before that, we went down to Jurong Point extension (new mall). Was quite impressed of the new shopping mall filled up with interesting cateries and shops. Had Lunch at KFC and tea time at Old Town White Cafe. The new mall is packed with babies, children, adults, shoppers & elderly...

Finally settled down with my Xmas gift exchange pressie at The Face Shop. Overall, I simply love the new opening of Jurong Point and do drop-by for a walk (not during weekends, u will be packed like sardine) with your loves one. Oh ya, some highlights there: NTUC X-tra, Penang Preakness Restaurant, Old Town, Zhou (dun know what) eatery/restaurant, Dian Xiao Er, Ting Tai Feng.....and more....
