Playpen up!

Since hubby was free yesterday so he set up little bao bao babypen. Hehe, while looking at it when i came home, I feel so anxious of his arrival. I even told hubby that night if i can sleep on the playpen, it looks so comfortable. Well he said if the playpen can take my weight, i am free to sleep on it, haha.. By the way, little bao bao's grandma (hah, my mother in law) brought him a bean sprout pillow that cost her $19.90. She says putting the little pillow on his chest or by the side of his body while sleeping will make him sleep better with no fear.

Hubby also fix up the rack in the other room for all the pampers that we have accumulated over the months and the sterilizers that was given. Well, the whole room still a bit messy but it has been much neater than before. I still need him to remove some of the bulky items like bicycle and tables to the study room for my MIL to come over and sleep during my confinement. We going to get another closet chest drawer later from IKEA.

Today weather wasn't good...haiz....it is raining soon......the sky out of my window are getting darker...the sun went going home......i just washed all the baby clothing...

It has to be hang indoor.

 

Pedicure done yesterday before rushing off the dad's birthday dinner. This time round, i have asked the lady to trim it short & square for me. The next round of pedicure & medicure should be after the confinement. Ha, the lady was so shocked to see my swollen "pig trotter" and asked me if i am due soon anytime. Told her, it should be anytime for the next 2 weeks.

Tomorrow visit to Dr Woody, anxious to see how the little one is doing....

Dad's 54th Birthday..

Yesterday was Dad's 54th birthday, we had a 9 course dinner at Pin Si Restaurant at Yishun Centre together with 3rd aunt & family, my grandparents and of course my own family. We got him a Titus stainless watch from Citychain, it was priced at $448..? (but storewide having 50% discount), so we paid $224 for it, shared by xiaoyong, hubby & me. Initially, i wanted to get the agar agar cake (recommended by HuiMing) but the uncle did not get back to me, so we decided to get him a Hazelnut Cake from Swensen.

Dinner was fine overall, i could say everyone enjoyed the dinner. But hubby and xiayong commented that it was not worth the $500 plus we paid for it. Well, what matters most, is that we enjoyed each other company thru' the dinner.

Turning 36 weeks

Last evening, the weekly check up at Dr Woody's clinic, it was raining very very heavily. The floor are wet outside the clinic, mummies are standing outside waiting for their turn to be called. Inside of the clinic are too packed with patients and mummies too.

I was Q number 5, Dr Woody was 15 mins late due to the heavy traffic and the rain of course.

When he saw me, the 1st question he asked was: " Is Baby kicking everyday?" I replied:" Yes, it is....". Secondly, (he didn't took my blood pressure??), instead he asked me to lie down and did a scan for little bao bao, showed me & hubby where his hip bone are, his head & his heart beat. Then he commented, ehhmm...everything is just as fine, he issued me a blue letter to Thomson Medical (guess that is the admission letter), followed he said: "IF THESE FEW DAYS, WATER BAG BURST OR ANY SIGN OF BLEEDING, give him a ring immediately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I nearly faint...which means he is asking me to standby for little bao bao's arrival............

While walking out of the clinic, hubby suddenly asked me, what if little bao bao decided to pop out last nite...?! hahaha!!!! I told him that mummy's instinct should be the 2nd week of April. I should be able to pull thru this March.

So immediately, i checked on my barang barang bag again, just in case.

We headed to IMM for dinner...settled at Ajisen. Home-made green bean soup with durian for dessert at home. Hubby tried his first attempt on the dessert, it is his cook-house aunt who gave him the idea. Well, it tasted delicious, of course.......one pot of green bean soup to 5 bowls. Luckily, my parents in law came up to visit us and they had one bowl each and we managed to finished the whole pot.

Papaya soup with pork ribs was next, it was compliments from my neighbour. She called me into her place when i came back from work for a change to Dr Woody's clinic. It was her first attempt too, the soup is simply heavenly....very "clean" and "pure"  taste.

Opps...forgotten to update, little bao bao weighing: 2.761kg and 31.5cm (as of 24 March).

Earlier than expected...????!!!!!!!

 

As per Huiming's sms yesterday when she told me that i should take more pictures of myself during pregnancy as a remembrance, i decided to take some pics before i went back mummy's place this afternoon.

All the pictures locations are the same as this is the only place i can place my camera and set on the auto-timer. Hubby wasn't at home at that time to take the shots for me...so no choice, i have find my means to take the pics.

By the way, when i was at mummy's place, she passed me something that surprised me..i was really delighted and happy....it's my GUESS watch...i cannot remembered why it was at their place. All these while, i thought i lost the watch somewhere in office..or at home..or in the car, but it was at her place all these while. Finally, my beloved watch is found and back to me.

Mummy & dad was surprised to see my 2 foots swell like pig trotter.....she anticipated that i will be due in 2 weeks time, which is 2 weeks earlier than my expected due date. So she want me to be confine at home, don't run about in case that little darling wants to come out earlier than expected. Hah, dad even wants me start my maternity leave on 1 April...?! Well, i need to seek advice from Dr Woody and see what he has arranged for me.

Saying of that makes me a bit anxious....so today, i have decided to do another round of checklist before i due. First, i trimmed and shape my eyebrow, shortened my nails. Secondly, i put in another set of unties and maternity pad into my barang barang bag. Additional paperbag of unties, pad & towel in the office just in case. Thirdly, i replenished the medicine box which i realised that we have ran out of panadol (normal & cold) & plaster. Four, toilet papers, tissue paper, softer for laundry replenished. Last but not the least, last round of pedicure this Saturday after work. I will need mummy to arrange with Auntie to come over my place for hse work cleaning when i am on confinement.......Wat's else.......hhmm...

Yah, i know liao..... Pending left:

* Little bao bao clothing ALL not wash yet.

* Playpen not set up.

* Extra playpen, baby's stuffs, clothing, hot flask to be brought to MIL's place. But these can be done upon discharge and also my belongings...as latest update, i may be going over to my MIL's place for 1 month confinement. Mummy thinks it is a good idea too.

Trying to intake more fish and milk these few weeks, but it wasn't faithfully done. For milk intake, i try to take at the least one full glass per day but it was sufficient. Now will increase the intake to min 2 full glass per day. Will also try that on fish intake, well i still take the tuna fish oil pill from Dr Woody which is one way to supplenment the vitamins.

I made myself birdnest with red dates  last nite, 3 pieces of birdnest. Shared it with hubby but of course he wants me to take more than he does. I am left with the last 2 pieces of birdnest. Hubby say will get some more during the weekends...I have intake $600 worth of birdnest since i am 3 months pregnant till now....well, that isn't as much as i expected..haha! I thought i would have take more...

I'm bored at home...!!!!!

In fact not really, i spent most of the precious time sleeping and lazing on my couch while watching TV since it is 3 days long weekend. Friday was Good Friday, Saturday (my alternate off day) and Sunday. 3 full days for rest and energy replenishment. No intention to leave the house, expect to get my meals.

Oh yah,I went IMM with Babyshell last evening for dinner. Dinner at Ajisen followed by some window shopping and last dessert and drinks at Secret Receipt. No longer can tahan the shopping since both of my foots are swollen with water retention.

While at home, i spent some of my time surfing the net, browsing for some baby's information and as usual sg.brides forum. I even planned for little bao bao full month cake from Choz Confectionery.

It is delicious, well...i tried it before and have made up my mind to order from them. Mummy says it tastes good as well when she tried that day from one of her colleague....

 

 

 

 

See, this is so adorable, it is cupcakes...freshly made and they have lots of cute and nice design meant for different celebration. Something like this for little bao bao full month celebration will be nice.

Guess, i will be ordering 100-120 pcs from them. The little cousins will love it!

With these, it gave me some new ideas when it comes to birthday celebration, instead of the boring round cake that we usually have... here are somemore designs that i personally like it a lot.

Oh yah, hubby brought a baby playpen from AMK-HUB (mums & babes) @ $100 after special discount..usual price @ $180. I like the design and it's in blue...and it comes with some compartment at the side too.

I am hoping and waiting for him to fix it up but he wasn't free these 2 days for the fixing. hhmmm......

Many many thanks to the both of you for taking such a good care of me at work during these few month of pregnancy. The presence of u kept me going at work. If not, i wouldn't have make it till now. It is so glad and fortunate to have the both of you sharing my ups and downs at work. It really comforts me to have you around me all these while and fighting the "human battle" with the other extreme 2..haha!!!

* well u gals know what i mean. Not forgetting CJ who newly joined in our clan, hahaha!

I am gotta to miss the breakfast session, the la-kopi session, the "after work" session at BB, the gossiping & giggling session at work, the 3 dancing chickies with our Long Island Tea.....and more......

I hope that the both of you will wait for me to come back after 3 months of maternity leave and shall continue to fight on the battle though i know there is no "forever good things".....

Take good care of yourselves....ignore the childish people at office.....we know what we'r doing and that's fine....don't be bother by how & what they said....... I love you gals....! muackz.........

I still miss our wedding day!

Our first date on 21 August 2000.

We have been married for 1 year, 2 months, 8 days.

The day when 2 hearts beat as one... 13 January 2007

I miss the wedding preparation days. Many thanks to those who have helped Roy &  me in one way or another.

Now that, we are entering into another new phrase of life, with the little one coming to join us next month. Life is going to a new, challenge one.

I hope that we can be good daddy & mummy to bring him up.

Little bao bao @ 2.5kg + Short term loss of Memory.....

Visited Dr Woody last evening, the clinic was packed with mummies.

Waited closed to 30mins for my turn.

As usual, Dr Woody took my blood pressure and did a check on Little Bao Bao.

 

Latest weight: 2.5kg (me @ 34 weeks)

Latest length: 31cm

 

Thanks to the durians and great appetite that he put on 300g over 2 weeks.

The next visit will be on weekly basis and I should expect cervix check soon…….errrr……….* scared!!!!!

 

Perhaps, pregnancy can make you develop short term loss of memory. I lost my favourite GUESS watch. I have been wearing it for 5 years, I think.

It was a gift from Michelle & gals. I love the watch very much…and………

 

I lost the watch in my office; I think…..i could not recall where I last placed the watch.

It should be at my desk when I took it off after toilet visit.

Search at office & home was done but….i just could not find the watch….

 

I am “watchless” now…..
