My "Off Day"

Thank You, Aunty Huiming...!

This aunty has brought some toys for Baby D & tonic for the mummy..

I met up with Huiming today and had lunch at Sakae Sushi @ Northpoint. (Thanks for the lunch)... She went off to work and I proceeded off with my shopping...Yeah Today is "off day" for me, Baby D is at his ah-ma's house. I went to mummy's beautician to get my eyebrows plucked then went off to Causeway Point. First stop was Cerisi's fair, brought some little clothes for Baby D, off to Kiddy Palace...brought some more clothes again and a blanket for him.

It's so nice + enjoyable to shop for Baby D's stuff...How I wish to buy down to whole of Kiddy Palace & Mothercare..* By the way, Mothercare is having SALES...!

For myself, I brought $18 worth of hair accessories & jean skirt from Metro...nothing else....wanted to get shoes for myself but.......nothing found!

Nowadays, I get tired easily...went home after that........Zzzzzz!

 

Baby D going for his 2nd jab with Kidslink @ CCK (Dr Winston Ng) in 2 weeks time, just called up yesterday to check on the injection schedule...

His likings....

Time flies...my dear darling is 1 month, 1 week and 4 days. He is trying very hard to turn over but failed!!! Haha!!!! Below are his liking that we noticed recently:

He likes this new sleeping position...He likes to bully the ah-ma (s) by making them carry him and sing him a song...He likes to "watch TV" with mummy on bed...He likes to treat his mummy & daddy free "hot tea" when we change pamper for him...He likes to "wail and yell" when nobody attend to him after 5mins of crying...He likes to bath in the morning at 10-11am and expect us to bath him if not he will start his wailing...He likes to sleep in aircon room and he is afraid of hot weather...He likes to look at bright objects like red/pink tshirt that mummy is wearing...He likes to go out...He likes to sit in daddy's car...He likes to gobble down his milk milk...He likes to grab mummy's fingers when feeding...

But does he likes his mummy & daddy..? Hmm.....

Into "sleeping mode"

While hanging Baby D's clothes this morning, I realized I am...... TOO MUCH!... I actually used 10 handkichief within one day??!!

Wedding banquet at the marquee...outdoor wedding...romantic ambience...nice food with generous portion...so-so service...at The Legend, Fort Canning Park

Elaine must be happiest bride last evening where her dearest darling sang her a love song (live) with his own MTM music video (with lots of doggies picture, knowing that elaine loves dogs), she's tremendeously touched by his surprise and she cried. His speech on stage made her cried as well...hey, he made our dear elaine cried twice during the banquet.

Our dear Michelle love the food served..I did as well but missed out serveral delicious item like shark's fin soup, prawns in herb, abalone with cabbage....  I can't take seafood, sob sob...!!!! It is a pity that we were separated with Lyssa and Don on the table as we were late, we missed out the sword barrier ceremony and montage too. No worries, we will be meeting out with elaine to see her photographes at M Hotel - Steamboat (confirmed last nite on out next meet up venue, yeah!) when she returns from Japan. Another pity is that our Veris is out of town for business trip..it would be wonderful if the full force is around to celebrate elaine's big day.

Dinner end fast and quick at aound 10 plus, we took some photographes and headed back to mummy's place to fetch Baby D, he was soundly asleep when we fetched him home, haha!!!! I'm growing to love him more each day!

 

Zzzzzz to Airport

We brought Baby D to the Airport to fetch my dad, baby D slept all the way from Yishun to Airport and from Airport back to Yishun and finally back to our house at Bukit Batok. No wonder, he wants me "to accompany" him last nite and didn't want me to go bed...

Mummy, Xiaoyong, hubby and I went burger king for dinner while waiting for dad's flight to land. The new pram was not brought along (regretted) and it was real tiring for my right arm to carry him all the way there, luckily mummy took over carrying him from the journey back. While dinning at Burger King, we even let him sleep on the bench...haha! He's so adorable, sleeping soundly away..Zzzzz...

Dad was so delighted to see Baby D in the airport, kept touching him! Haha!!!

Guess grandpa misses his grand-son....

 

Gals out!

Gals out nite at Nails Bar (Duxton Hill). We had our medicure / pedicure done as well as to celebrate Elaine's Hens nite. She will be walking down the red carpet with the man she loves dearly on 25 May, Sunday @ Fort Canning, so looking forward to see her in her beautiful wedding gown on Sunday. 

The gals had a wonderful time at Nails Bar, Ann was superb...she has done a wonderful job for all of us, esp the bride to-be.

The gals had dinner after the pedicure session at a Japanese Restaurant @ Amara Hotel. Food was so-so, our next dinner gathering after elaine returns from honeymoon holiday....will be at M Hotel for steamboat...wohaha!

We had a fun nite out but Lyssa only came down to have dinner with us after her work. How I wish we can chat thru' the whole nite. Hmm... I need to bring back Baby D from MIL's place so no choice, have to leave relucktunly at 10pm plus. The gals went ahead back Nail Bars as our dear Elaine unknowingly "destroy" her nice pedicure with her COVERED SHOES. Faintz..... She wore a covered shoes to pedicure!!!?? Guess due to the hectic and stressful wedding, she has lost her mind..! wohaha!

I miss this bunch of gals very much!

New Pram & Vivo City

A new pram has arrived! Hubby & I brought it from Kiddy Palace (@ Northpoint). There is a special 20% discount for that particular model, so thinking that it was really a good deal, we brought it for our darling.

It was so comfortable, user friendly, with AG+ feature and sooooo pleasing compared to the one that SAF gave us. Baby D loves it, by the look on his face and he dozing off on the pram. We didn't regret getting it for him. It was really a good choice.

Family day out for daddy, me & Baby D to vivo city. Lunch @ White Dog Cafe, hubby love the steak there and the magnificant view over Sentosa Island, I love that CHILLED chocolate cookies milkshake. Baby D was quite cooperative throughout the journey, only when daddy & mummy wanted to have lunch together, he wants to join in and be that "third party".. Hee Hee!

We took a walk over to Harbourfront to find out more on the Huaxia Infant Swimming Centre. It's interesting! Daddy wants to bring him back for a "swim"...

 

Oh ya, we have opened a saving account for Baby D and deposit all his ang bao $ into that account for his saving...Baby D has a bank book now with his first saving deposit.

Baby D Shower Party

Baby D shower party was a great success! He was extremly thrilled to see so many people in our house and refused to go to sleep after each feed. He stayed awake from early morning 10am all the way till 5pm before a short nap. He was being carried around by relatives until I have to go around the house to look for my baby.

Colleagues from Chasen/Furama came, my bosses from Chasen came as well, hubby's campmates, relatives, PRC members and lots more. The buffet lunch kick off at 12noon sharp, the buffet (by Angeli Catering) was so yummy that 2 replenishment was grabbed "fast & furious" by the guests until hubby have to order 6 large pizza for those latecomers. My aunties & cousin(s) were at my place for MJ till 12 midnight. I dropped death after they left, it was really hectic day for daddy, me & baby D!!!

Baby D received lots of gifts + ang bao(s) from the guest. There are vouchers, clothings, Disney Hamper, gold neckless (one from Dodo and one from Celine Gu Gu), gold bangle (from hubby's mum), gold anklet (from my mum), rocking chair (from aunt Millie) etc... One of my favourite is 2 sets of Levi's baby set (Jeans & Tshirt), he should be able to wear it for Xmas or CNY'09, it's simply too adorable.

Once again, on behalf of Baby D, thanks for all the gifts.

* Happy 1st Month to Baby Darrell *

Baby D's full month was a busy day for all of us. Choz cakes arrived as early as 8.30am, mum, dad & brother came over with Mcdonald BIG breakfast & carrot cake...Yummy!!!!! Best breakfast after 1 month of confinement. MIL showered for baby D and changed him into his new clothes after which mummy shaved his hair (I also don't know why must shave his hair). He was good enough throughout to stay still for mum to shave him.

Hubby brought the cakes back camp, me brought mine back to office...so happy to see the colleagues and my kakis ...We went off to MIL's place, hubby's grandma's place, Bugis temple, my grandparent's place and then headed home. Baby D slept thru the whole day out. It was a tiring day though I was able to go out.

Hubby & I went to Kallang KFC to tabao home but baby D woke up shortly when we reached home. He don't allow mummy and daddy to have KFC dinner together, kept "seeking" for our attention. (by the way my MIL went back her home lo.. wohah)

By the time, I pat him to sleep and showered, it was almost close to 12 midnight. *yawn yawn*

Finally, after a month of waiting...our darling Baby is one month old.... I am enjoying everyday with him despite the cries he made.. haha!!!
