My folks are back...!

"Bee Gou" for Baby D

Daddy was in high mood when he decides to make "bee gou" for Baby D on Saturday afternoon. For those, who don't know what is "bee gou", allow me to do some explanation for you.

Sources from MIL... "bee gou" pronounce in teochew means glutinous rice (i think those in dark red colour) mixed with other nutrition herbs and grin it to very fine powder form. It's to be mixed with warm water and drink direct from milk bottle or to cook it over small fire till it became sticky form (like paste) and be fed. It comes in a big packet of $12/-, got it from a medical hall at Bt Batok East Ave 2 (recommended by Fanny's MIL). It has a very fragrant "rice" smell and lots of babies love it and would ask for MORE... Baby D is one of them.

As per the aunty from the medical hall, they hand-made this packet using their secret receipt passed down from generations. "bee gou" can be eaten on it own or to mixed with carrot, spinach, potato etc.

Do take note that "gee gou" is a very heaty food though very high nutritional value, remember to give our little babies enough water or fruit prune to ease their poo poo system, I gave papaya to baby D for his dessert + jap sweet potato for snack...yummy!

[ 1st Trial ]

Baby D didn't scream or wail when we placed him into the cold pool. We reach the swimming pool at 8am in the morning and surprising the water is soooo freaky cooling.

Baby D went down to the pool with Daddy for nearly 10mins and after which I dry him up so that he would not catch a cold. We decide to get him a swimming float on our second trip where he can have more fun in the pool. So delighted that he did not make a big fuss while swimming.

He is such our dearly boy! We love you!

He fall asleep when we reached home and being fed with milk milk....

We went to Changi Airport, T3..... Baby D met Disney there...hehe!

This is the 2nd time in the month that Baby D went to the Airport...

He welcomes his "gu-gu" back from Perth for holiday....

B'lated Birthday..

We had a belated steamboat dinner for Michelle last Saturday. It was a nice + fun + contented gathering where we have a "full force" meet up. Full force as in, 5 of us actually made it for this dinner. It was always 4 short of 1 due to each individual busy schedule but for this round, we made it! So happii...

This is also the very first time they are seeing Baby D since birth but some late comers like Lyssa and Veris didnt get to play with Baby D as he dozed off to Lala world at 8.45pm.

We drink, bite, chat & laugh till 2am..... Pressie of the nite, we gave Michelle $$$ fr her to top up her Andy Lau's concert. Baby Michelle ~ Enjoy your concert then.

We went to Baby Brandon's baby shower. Baby Brandon resembles not like Daddy nor Mummy....but "Ye Ye"...cute cute! Congrats to Kelly & Fanny on your new-born precious son...
