Fridge Phonics - Leapfrog

Daddy opened his pressie and started his phonics on the fridge.

My dear darling messed up the magnets. Daddy place it one by one on the fridge, his precious son, took off from the fridge one by one....

After he gets tired of taking off those magnets off the fridge.... he went off!

Leaving the mess for Daddy to pick...heehee!

The End, he is crawling to elsewhere... haha!

Back from Conference Trip.

I am back from the Conference Trip.

It was a fun-filled and fulfilling trip. I enjoyed the stay and the accompany.

Deprived of beauty sleep. I haven't been sleeping well. 8 hrs sleep over 2 days.

I have became a Mummy Panda. But it's worth it...

happy birthday to you, our dearest Baby Darrell...

I woke up at 7.15am this morning and immediately I woke hubby up, telling him that “I am going to deliver soon!!”…! He gave me a kind of blur stone look.

Haha, then told him last year on this date (16/4/2008) and around this timing, I spotted red while showering and realized that I am going to give birth to our precious soon.

How time flies!

The memories of delivery process are still clearly remembered in my memory now.

We even went off for Mcddies breakfast before heading to Thomson Medical, same for this morning. Grabbed Mcddies breakfast before I went off to work. Oh ya, I had BIG breakfast meal last year!

Could still remembered how hubby admitted me to the delivery suite and I got changed into the delivery gown, Dr Woodworth came and greeted me with a wide warm smile, telling me the process would be a smooth one for me. I love his statement of... “you should be able to see your baby by 5pm”… how much we waited for this moment to come. We waited patiently in the delivery suite. Waited and waited till 5plus, little Darrell is playing hard to get with Dr Woodworth. We have to opt for c-section then. By 8.09pm, he arrived beautifully to this world, welcomed by us, his grandparents and a lot of those who loved him deeply and dearly.

Over this one year, we have learnt to cherish him, love him and shower him with whatever we can. He is our bond. Our very precious!

His cries, his monster laughter, his cheeky smiles and his non-stop hyperactive behaviors have gone through this one year with us.

How much that he has given us and we cherish it very much!

Happy Birthday, my dear Baby Darrell.

Daddy & Mummy loves you!

Dad's Bday (March)

We had a mini celebration at our favourite eating place (coffeeshop along Sembawang plc, towards Sembawang Park) for Dad's bday.

Grandparents, 2 x twins aunties and their kiddos went along too. We had a sumptuous dinner for all.

Everyone was happy with the dinner. It's a table full of goodies, we have...steamed fish, seafood, chicken wings, pork ribs, crabbie, veggies, squids and more...oh I can't remembered all. But I am sure that the kiddos enjoyed so as the adults...

Happy B'day, papa... Thanks for what you have given to us. We love u....

Best Wishes & pink of health + wealth...papa!

The First Birthday

The first birthday party was a great success. Majority of the guest turned up, the kids had great fun with the balloons, the adults enjoyed the mahjong. Apologies for our poor host if there is any. It was a busy nite of "catching up" with the friends and entertaining.

Food from Aranda Country Club was so-so, as they don't allow outside catering hence I have no choice but to use their in-house caterer. Luckily, I increased the food portion on the 11th hour before the party starts if not the food will be insufficient. The birthday cake from e-creative came together with the cupcakes, oh...the adults and kids love the adorable attractive cupcakes. As for the balloons, abit of disappointment... the balloons deco wasn't up to my standard (or perhaps I took the cheapest package), anyway the balloons did brighten up the place and the kids are snatching away my balloons even before the party start. The 2 agar-cakes were hot cakes. The kids finished one cake before anyone...see how incredible they can be.

Baby D, of course enjoyed the stay with so many people that he refused to take his afternoon nap that day and turned up to be a bit cranky. I quickly isolated him from the first crowd of relatives and he managed to nap off 1 hr before the crowd comes. He looks quite "blur" when we sang him the birthday song. heehee.

Our dear precious has turned one, he has brought us so much of joy and laughter. He made us realized that the world can be so wonderful with him by our side. We have witnessed him growing up, from a baby to now a trodder and calling us "pa-pa" and "ma-ma". It's really our pride to have him. Dar, you are our sunshine and we will love you always.

Thank you for turning up at baby d's birthday party. Your presence has made us enjoyed the joyous event together with our darling. Appreciate your good gifts and ang-baos. It has left us wonderful and memorable memories for Baby Darrell's 1st Birthday Party.

The Guests...

...............................................

The guests left, the food was clear, the place was cleaned up, Baby d went to bed..ZzzzZzzz, comes the next day, we went for early breakfast, walk at the new e-hub followed by swimming at the pool.

We checked out after that, went back MIL' place and headed for dinner.

The party went off smoothly, I am so glad... and we enjoyed it.
