our first sail with star virgo

the first family sail on starcruise - virgo with my mum and 4-yee, it's much fun and joy with them. we checked in at harbourfront cruise centre and boarded the cruise soon, was warmly welcomed by the friendly and helpful staffs of star virgo. upon stepping into their cruise lobby, we were served with welcome cocktail drink with live band and right after that, the night begin with excitement.

we proceed to the chinese restaurant for quick dinner and that we have baby d travelling together with us, the restaurant staff actually asked if we need baby porridge for him. it's such convenient and child-fuss-less. porridge with steamed hongkong style fish settled his dinner in a spin. i would say cruise is indeed a children friendly venue for a short getaway and have met a lot of toddlers on board. there is even a child-care centre too to help baby sitting for parents who want to visit places like casino or spa.

we were given complimentary food dining vouchers so it's food all day long. eat and sleep is all we did over the past 2 days.

the adults went on to their favourite spot - casino & jackpot to "catch" the lions and diamond, haha!

phew! i really admire these people, they can stay in the casino till dawn and came back to nap followed by another round of activities soon right after, we proceed to some healthy activities like swimming and gym when they returned.

we brought baby d to the pool for a dip since the weather is just nice but soon after the scotching sun came out and we brought him up but we continued, we went for aqua swim, steam bath, jacuzi while my mum and 4-yee went for gym up. after washing up, we decided to go for a walk around the cruise facilities, camwhoring and tea breaks.

there is a performance of dancing and singing at the lido balcony stage so we went and have a catch, it was splendor performance. baby d enjoyed and sat on papa's lap throughout the show.

the little one of course enjoyed the cruise very much and beside the point that he likes to run about exploring, he has been a well behaved boy with us. going after him onboard is really a tedious job and after he turned in to bed, all i wanted to do is to relax on the bed and enjoy the breeze, soon i dozed off to the dreamland.

happy times flew too fast that we have not enjoyed the facilities so we stayed onboard even though there is an disembark at Malacca and kl. we took our time to enjoy the breeze and cruise around instead of the rush itinerary.

the sunset is truly beautiful.

it's such a relaxing to see the people lazing around.

soon, it's time to packed up and home, while seeing the cruise sailed back and see the familiar scenery of sentosa, the carribean and harbourfront. the short getaway ended in such a spin that we could not believe the fact that we are back from cruising... heehee!

everyone enjoyed! it's a memorable trip for us.

polliwog; day out

its a fun & great long weekend to enjoy with the little one especially when papa is back from holiday. we made a play date with jaron kor-kor @ polliwog, east coast early in the morning today, before heading to polliwog for the morning play, we filled up our tummy with mcdonald breakfast.

there's a long Q at polliwog when we arrived as there's 3 birthday party going on. the crowd really warmed up the whole playground and as if there's no air-condition on. everyone is perspiring throughout. we "check-in" to polliwog and immediately started off the play. both little darrell and jaron were running around the playground and enjoyed very much with one another accompany. the adults are the most tiring...hor!

both the little ones love being floated with plastics colourful balls. we spent more of our time in the ball pool. they played, the mummies chatted. its has been a enjoyable time!

we left polliwog and headed to suntec for lunch and shopping. at carrefour, we confirmed our purchase since there is a special discount for bedding. yeah, i am so looking forward to its arrival. we spend some precious time at the game arcade on racing cars, shooting and other gaming. oh, we visited the bookstore and got the little boys each a animal pop-up story book. hope the both of them will enjoy reading.

with the good times out, time flies especially fast. time for dinner again, we went to imm for hongkong cuisine. by the time, this 2 little boys were knock out. the mummies and daddies had dinner together and a long chat. the boys woke up shortly we finished our dinner and we went for a short walk. departed after we got the grocery and time to say goodbye to one another. the boys kissed goodbye and we parted off from there.

its a good day out! we will plan to have more of such outing together again.

the honey stars

the little boy really likes his honey stars. he loves it while watching the hi-5 and cartoons.

it's such adorable to see him pinch on the stars and put it into his mouth with a crunchy bite. he finishes the bowl of cornflakes + honey in a spin.

we love honey stars!

hapy birthday hubby, happy birthday papa...

Happy Birthday hubby...

Happy Birthday papa...

it's the actual birthday! hubby is still in SZ and will be back in town mid midnight. we have just called him and wished him a happy birthday. he's enjoying his beef noodle right now in a rainy cooling weather.

7 days without hubby at home and i managed it all by myself. i brought dinner home, i stock up my groceries, i run the errands and all my time for the little one. the nites of sleeping alone on the bed will end soon, right today.

the only regret is we are unable to celebrate hubby birthday on the actual day. well, we had it one week ago too...but doing it on the actual day seems more meaningful isn't it?

oh... nevertheless, here little darrell & me wish him a happy birthday and may all things be a smooth-sailing one for him.

Hubby - 28th!

we had an advance birthday celebration with papa since he will only be back in town one day after his birthday. a heavy dinner for us and baby d, steak, soup, mania pizza, fruit drink and a house cookie & cream birthday cake from white dog cafe, vivo.

papa had their house signature steak, mama had duck confit, seafood pizza, clam chowder soup of the day and not forgetting our all-time favourite drink - mango-licious and peach perfection.

compliments bday song with the presentation of cookie & cream birthday cake from the restaurant, they gave our papa a surprise! hee...the restaurant played very soft birthday song and shortly the crew brought us the cake. Baby D of course like the candle, the cake and the song. the attraction was on baby D and everyone thought it was hi birthday because this little one was "yelling & screaming" happily over the piece of cake with candle on it. papa made a wish and baby D blowed the candle on his behalf cause papa didnt even have a chance to do it. lastly, baby D gave his birthday pressie to papa and ended the dinner. it's a simple and warming celebration for us.

we went for a walk + play at the playpool and headed home for TV.

happy birthday, 28th!

wish everything will be a smooth-sailing for you, papa!

we love you!
