my 18th months darrell

my baby d is officially a 18th month toddler where it's the basic requirement for admission to the child-care but after much consideration, we have decided to put him into a half day child-care program comes 3nd quarter of the next year. main while, mummy will source around for some musically enrichment classes for him to start next year because this little one enjoys very much with music.

well, coming to the thought of it... the name of baby d will have to change it to little d, haha! however, he's still the precious baby in both mummy and papa's heart.

the little one d has learnt alot of new things through the months and now he's learning to pronounce. yes, pronunciation is in progress. he will imitate you and learn to pronounce the last word you speak to him.

when he sees his "jie-jie" (my helper) vacuuming and mopping the floor, he'll want to help her by taking the magic clean and imitate how she does it. whenever, he sees the vacuum cleaner at electrical stores, he will called out to his "jie-jie" and imitate how she does the housework at home. this really amused us! we are happy & fortunate to share what he has learned and its learning.

little darrell loves us as much as we do. if he can reach out for papa's handphone, he will bring the handphone to papa even though papa is somewhere around the house. he even share his yakult drink with us.

the little boy is also very good with associating things around him... he know how to get his "KEY", his "SHOES", his "CAR" (stroller) whenever we mentioned the word "GAI GAI" to him. simply, he loves the word "GAI GAI", haha! he will dash off to the door and get ready for set-off.

brought him over to dr. winston's clinic for some running nose medication and as well to assess on his 18th month growth. everything seems fine for this little one...worrying that he might be on the 'underweight-petti' side, ask dr winston if there is anything to enhance his appetite. i got a 'strange' look from dr winston?! he did an calculation on his weight and head circumference, phew...this boy is on a 75th percentile which is slightly above average for his age-month. haha! this mummy felt so relieved upon his assurance.

well, i strictly believe all mummy would want to feed the best for their little ones however, they get to choose what goes in their mouth right...? so it tends to worry the mummy if their little ones get enough nutrients on daily feeds and specially when they loves the junk food more than their "ai xin" meals which we have prepared.

whenever i see him, i felt the happiness within me. when he hovers over and give you a tight hug, nothing beats better than it. the bond we had for one another, the mother love for him. i just can't bear to whisper the word "baby, mummy loves you" gently into his ears...not sure if he understand the real meaning of it, he would walked away. i simply love to see the way he eats, he sleeps, he loiters around the house, he picks his snacks over tea-time, he picks up leaves and stone at the park, he swings down from the slides, he greeted me "nite nite" everynite before going to bed and more more more. i am so thankful to have him beside me and he is my everything.

with you at our side, with your cheerful laughter and the amazing bond that fall within us, we continue to walk on with hands holding as a family, our life journey...

wish us all the best!

conf mtg; 22-24Oct

it was the 2nd conf meeting for all the heads of the subsidiaries/main company at sebana cove, jb. the meeting went well smooth and team building was fun. the heads had theories meeting on the 1st day of the event followed by brain-storming after dinner. 2nd day was presentation followed by a seafood dinner out of the resort, all had fun drinking away during dinner.

haha, the company drank 3 cartons of beer and following right after, we went for 2nd round of drinking at the resort's pub, there we had a total of 5-6 towers of beers. it was another round of great fun with great beer & accompany. singing, drinking, chatting, joking away and not forgetting the gambling games we had, haha! the head of our china company is such a funny gentleman that the nite ambiance at the pub were highly lifted up. all our laughter filled up the empty space at the pub.

weather at the resort were unbearable hot! as it is a resort, air conditioners were limited. we had dining under fan at the main restaurant, everyone had their quick meals each time and headed back to the function room immediately for cooling. the smokers (majority) would love the place as they can inhale their "oxygen" without any restriction/limitation.

the trainer has arranged some team building games for us right after breakfast, it was another round of laughter. i love the team building games, through that, i can see each individual  person's effort put in to accomplish their mission given. regardless of the designation of directors or managers, everyone were equal and worked as a team. well, that should be the way!

we had some drink & fruits refreshment, complimentary from the resort, washed up ourselves and set off for the lunch before we check out and depart for our ferry back home. after lunch, everyone went around shaking each other hands and bid farewell. it will be another 6 months till we once meet one another again.

i guess, beside the tedious lecturers and stressful presentation, everyone enjoyed!

i am glad it well smoothly and thankful to my dearest mum who came over to baby-sit little d while i am away.

next conference meeting, till we meet!

congrats to the successfully event! muackz...

in 20 years time, this little boy will be enlisted to the SAF... heehee, am i thinking too far ahead? well, little darrell took out papa' army hat and wear it marching around the house and when he wears it, he refused to take it off... obviously, he wore it with style, haha!

(that's unusual of him, he does not like to wear cap/hat)

New Bag!!!

i have just brought myself another new bag! will it be a gucci, prade, coach or LV?

none of the above... (scroll down to see my wonderful bag)

it's a marketing colourful "auntie" bag! wohoo!

actually, i have been eyeing for this bag long time since the need to go marketing on weekends for our meals at home. when the times, we need to carry all the bags of grocery and marketing back home, my arms and my back will ache, the journey back home from the market will take 20mins of 250m journey. now with this bag, i can walk home with ease and even enjoy the scenery at the neighbourhood...haha! it's free & easy with it.

my arms wouldn't be in pain anymore and baby D's stroller would not need to be heavy with the hanging of bags around it, all thanks to this....

my "auntie" marketing bag, only $19.00 nia!

even the little one loves it and would want to sit in it for you to ferry him around the house. upon purchasing of this wonderful bag, we basically throw in every other marketing bag in it and pull it like a trolley.

walking back home is such a breeze and enjoyment now!

p/s: though it looks abit auntie but this bag really serve the ease and convenience for those who need to carry big & small bags back home from market. heehee!
