Happy Lunar New Year ' 09

Dong Dong Qiang! Dong Dong Qiang! Happy Ox Year!

新年快乐!!! 恭喜发财!!! 身体健康!!!

1st day of the Lunar Chinese New Year

10.00am @ Mum's place

our very first ang bao for our baby D. immediately the ang bao went into his mouth!

Here comes a whole bundle of family photo-taking...

12noon @ Grandparent's place for reunion lunch

i'm always looking forward to lunch at grandma's place during the 1st day of CNY because i get to see my uncles, aunties & cousins whom we seldom meet due to their busy schedules. Some uncles were posted to China and will be back only festival seasons so it is really a GATHERING for all of us. i think the happiest person will be grandpa and grandma. it is a generation of 4 now with the arrival of baby d, hehe!

usually, we will have lunch categorized by your age group, haha! meaning, the elders like my parents, my grandparents, my uncle and aunties will have their lunch first followed by the 2nd group of elders and then the cousins + me, last but no the least, the helpers (maids).

with such attendance, we had 4 round tables concurrently having lunch where we broke our record. heng arr, grandma's place is huge enough to accommodate such attendance but all squeezed up like sardine & full mess in the kitchen. well, that's the fun of it!

alrite, let's see who we have it here....there are some other photo taking by my uncle's professional camera and it became an afternoon of family photo taking session. quite fun!

the F4 - the cousins where they played with power-ranger to now the facebook, blogging, friendster

the A family - Uncle Alvin, Auntie Anna and Andre

the SNG family

the TAN family with their 2 young flowers (hua)

here we come! daddy + mummy + daddy + baby d

here comes my family! see why baby d's face so sian..? he just woke up and we dragged him for this photo shoot, haha!

after photo taking, we had lunch then lo-hei. see...the pics shows how crowded the place can be. all getting ready for the "lo" arr...huat arr....!

while these big adults having the lo-hei, my baby d was seated comfortable in his high chair at one corner, playing with his toy! heehee! we left for another housing visiting at 3pm. baby d was so excited and happily enjoying the CNY with aunties playing with him.

CNY Lucky Draw

reached MIL's place for shower and fed him on porridge, well... he's happy!
